Shot during 2003-08 on Mini-DV tape, „Lostralia”, is a work that was sleeping for many years in the archive of Boris Eldagsen. Now, a decade after the making, he sets out to create a portrait of the continent he lived 2003-10. „Lostralia” is a unique journey through down under, where testosterone rules the outback and the roads are soaked in blood and sided by the decaying body of animal wildlife. There is no hope on the highway to hell, but speed, sweat and tears.
